We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Operative Assessment team at Spire Clare Park Hospital. As a Pre-Assessment Nurse, you will play a key role in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and support before treatment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive pre-operative assessments
- Triaging and assessing patients to ensure suitability for surgery
- Identifying and escalating potential clinical concerns
- Supporting safe, personalised patient care throughout the surgical pathway
- Providing clear information and reassurance to patients and families
- Working collaboratively with consultants, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams
- Contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
