Description
As a Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer at Leidos Australia, you will play a critical role in assuring the quality, compliance, and performance of complex systems throughout the engineering lifecycle.
You will collaborate with Systems Engineers, developers, cyber specialists, and program stakeholders to ensure that system and subsystem requirements are thoroughly verified, validated, and traced through to successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering teams to develop and execute verification and validation activities against system and subsystem requirements.
- Develop and maintain V&V artefacts, including test plans, test cases, Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), verification procedures, and test reports.
- Execute formal verification and validation activities, analyse results, document objective evidence, and provide clear reporting to support system acceptance and capability delivery.
- Contribute to Agile delivery practices, working within multidisciplinary teams to support adaptive planning, user story development, and estimation activities.
Requirements:
- Experience working in verification and validation environments.
- Experience developing and documenting test plans, test cases, verification procedures, and validation activities.
- Experience executing test plans and test cases and assessing outcomes against defined requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with test management tools, including ETM or similar test execution and management platforms.
- Knowledge of cyber security principles, security hardening practices, and ISM controls.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for planning, collaboration, reporting, and documentation.
- Experience working within Agile delivery programs.
