Description
As a software engineer at Cisco in Galway, Ireland, you will be part of the engineering team working on creating best-in-class video conferencing experiences. You will work closely with colleagues from concept to product, focusing on building features, maintaining functionality, and improving code quality.
You will:
- Build features and maintain functionality by writing software in C++/Python
- Help integrate software from meeting platform partners into the software stack
- Build software with quality and attention to detail
- Help the team focus on continuous improvement
The minimum qualifications for this role include a degree in computer science or equivalent, 3+ years of professional programming experience in C++, and experience working with Linux.
Preferred qualifications include experience with embedded platforms, Android development, device security, test-focused attitude, and excellent collaboration and communication skills.
