Finance Analyst

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our team at EMEA Finance in London.

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial reporting, controls, and business operations of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close for European management entities, including posting journal entries and completing reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and coordinate local audits.
• Prepare VAT filings and support other indirect tax matters.
• Analyse key expense drivers and contribute to management reporting.
• Partner with the broader business to identify opportunities for optimisation and improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders across Asia, Europe, and New York.
• Support EMEA Finance projects and process-improvement initiatives.
• Assist with internal management reporting, local regulatory filings, and surveys.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in audit, accounting, or financial services.
• Chartered accountancy qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP, and UK regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical proficiency with web applications and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurately against short deadlines.
