Senior Merchandise Payable's Analyst

The Senior Merchandise Payable's Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the merchandise payables team performs timely processing of merchandise invoices and related supplier disputes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely processing of merchandise invoices and resolve supplier disputes
• Support the Manager and Senior Accounts Payable Manager with research and resolution of vendor/site initiated disputes
• Regularly interact with the offshore team and help resolve escalated vendor issues
• Assist suppliers with invoice, dispute, and statement reconciliation issues
• Work cross-functionally with departments such as Merchandising, Inventory, Asset Protection, Logistics, and Store/Distribution centers
• Perform reconciliations related to supplier accounts and internal account reconciliations
• Conduct GL account reviews and manage databases
• Monitor onboarded suppliers in the AP Vendor Portal and follow up on aged disputes
• Write training materials and support the migration of the existing SAP system to the S4/Hana environment

Requirements

• 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Ability to work onsite 2-3 days a week
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
• SAP and/or S4/Hana Experience

• Ability to prioritize work and make decisions independently
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong understanding of accounting functions within Accounts Payable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience within a large retail organization and previous accounting and reconciliation experience
