We are the Tech Hub Private Cloud, part of KPN System Integrator for Business Netherlands. We design, implement, automate, and manage modern cloud environments, focusing on customer enablement.
As a Cloud Engineer/DevOps Engineer, you will work with customer teams and developers to design, build, and manage modern cloud environments. Your focus will be on automating and standardizing infrastructure, ensuring cloud platforms are secure, scalable, and reliable.
You will develop and implement cloud solutions for compute, networking, identity management, and Kubernetes platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps principles. You will also build and manage container platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift, including monitoring, security, access management, and observability.
In addition to developing and improving platforms, you will be responsible for managing cloud environments, performing changes, upgrades, and releases, resolving incidents, and conducting root cause analyses to drive structural improvements.
You will work with security, network, data, and customer teams to establish standards, automation, and best practices, helping organizations use cloud-native services securely, efficiently, and independently.
Qualifications:
- Analytical and result-oriented professional with strong collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement skills
- 5+ years of experience in cloud, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and StackIT
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Linux, containerization, and cloud-native platforms
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automation scripting, CI/CD, and GitOps
- Knowledge of IAM, security, observability, and operational platform management
- Experience with software development (Python, Go, C/C++) and data/event-driven solutions like Kafka
