This role is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to develop expertise in Accounting, Profit and Loss (P&L), and reporting.
The Product & Accounting Control Group (PAC) is responsible for cash reconciliations, P&L reconciliation to sub-ledger, balance sheet substantiation, fees and invoicing process, as well as general accounting, control, and reporting responsibilities. The group also prepares upper management reporting regarding Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cash, positions, and P&L reconciliations for Global Market activities.
- Perform source system to ledger reconciliations and substantiations of the General Ledger balances.
- Conduct oversight reviews of controls performed by partner ISPL teams.
- Investigate and resolve break items, including journal postings to align the ledger.
- Collaborate with various departments to reach resolutions for outstanding issues.
- Assist on projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and automations.
- Provide support for ad-hoc duties and reporting as assigned.
- Contribute directly to BNPP's operational permanent control framework.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Cumulative average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher.
Key Skills:
- Good understanding of accounting concepts and journal preparations.
- Solid knowledge of Excel and basic formulas (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence and composure at all levels of the business hierarchy.
- Effective time management and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exemplary attitude, innovative, enthusiastic, rigorous, and execution-oriented.
- Highly skilled multi-tasker with efficient organisational skills.
- Highly ethical and control-oriented.
- Knowledge of VBA or Power BI is an asset.
- Advanced Excel skills are an asset.
