Join WSP's Environmental Approvals team in Queensland and contribute to major projects across renewable energy, transmission, mining, transport, water and defence sectors.
As an Environmental Planner, you will assist in the preparation of environmental assessments, approval applications and technical reports, support the delivery of environmental impact assessments and approvals projects, and coordinate inputs from technical specialists.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing environmental assessments, approval applications and technical reports
- Supporting the delivery of environmental impact assessments and approvals projects
- Coordinating inputs from technical specialists
- Undertaking environmental constraints analysis, due diligence assessments and approvals reviews
- Contributing to project planning, programme management and delivery activities
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Planning, Urban Planning or a related discipline
- Approximately 2-5 years' experience in environmental approvals, environmental planning, impact assessment, consulting, industry or government
- Experience preparing technical reports, environmental assessments or approvals documentation
- Developing understanding of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
