Description

We made history and now we work to transform the future – for our customers, our communities and our families. You'll see your work on the road every day, helping people move freely and pursue their dreams. At Ford, you can build more than vehicles. Come build what matters.

Enterprise Technology plays a critical part in shaping the future of mobility. If you're looking for the chance to leverage advanced technology to redefine the transportation landscape, enhance the customer experience and improve people's lives, this is the opportunity for you. Join us and challenge your IT expertise and analytical skills to help create vehicles that are as smart as you are.

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining why we should invest, what we should build and why it matters now. This role serves as the strategic product leader for digital products and capabilities, ensuring investments deliver measurable customer, business and operational outcomes.

You will work closely with business partners, consumers, engineering, UX, analytics and partner teams across geographic regions to identify opportunities, validate assumptions, establish product strategy and create roadmaps aligned to organizational objectives. You will translate customer and business needs into prioritized product investments, measurable goals, and clearly defined features that enable teams to deliver value with confidence.

As part of the product triad, you will partner closely with Engineering Managers and UX leaders. Product Management owns the strategic direction, prioritization, epic-level requirements, acceptance criteria and acceptance of delivered value. Engineering owns the technical approach, story-level decomposition, estimates, sequencing, Scrum ceremonies and software execution. UX owns research-informed experience design and validation.

Ford encourages employees to use approved artificial intelligence capabilities as part of their work. Successful candidates will understand how to apply AI technology to improve research, synthesis, analysis, planning, documentation, communication and decision-making, independent of any AI provider or user interface. Familiarity with Ford's internal PM tool Krystal is helpful but not required; curiosity and a demonstrated ability to learn and adopt approved AI-enabled workflows are expected.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Ford Pro digital experiences while helping commercial customers and internal stakeholders achieve greater productivity, efficiency and business success.

Based in Dearborn, MI, this is a hybrid position with a requirement to be onsite four or more days per week. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.

  • Work with UX leaders and designers to ensure customer needs are understood, experiences are validated and design direction supports the intended product outcomes.
  • Remain engaged throughout delivery as the source of product context, priority decisions and acceptance criteria while Engineering leads story decomposition, ceremonies and execution.
  • Coordinate product-related stakeholders, dependencies, approvals and decisions required to support successful delivery and adoption.
  • Lead or coordinate user acceptance testing, review completed work against acceptance criteria and provide timely product acceptance and go-live approval.
  • Lead stakeholder roadmap reviews, prioritization discussions, product demonstrations and outcome reporting with clear communication of decisions and tradeoffs.
  • Build alignment across business functions, technical disciplines, leadership levels, cultures and geographic regions, including teams working across multiple time zones.
  • Use Ford-approved AI capabilities to accelerate product discovery, research synthesis, analysis, planning, documentation and stakeholder communication.
