Description
We are seeking an Assistant Chef to join our team at Arbrook House Care Home in Esher. As an Assistant Chef, you will be responsible for using your passion for cooking and fresh ingredients to create varied and nutritional menus in line with dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
You will:
- Create and deliver an excellent dining experience for our residents
- Put forward ideas to improve the dining experience
- Train and manage the kitchen team
- Adhere to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, managing orders and deliveries
- Cater for special events or seasonal activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
