Working as an Inbound Expert at Target means being part of a team that enables a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
As an Inbound Expert, you will create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing a detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operation
- Stocking, organising, and storing reserve product and straightening merchandise on the sales floor
- Maintaining product availability on the sales floor for General Merchandise categories
- Operating powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise
- Processing defective merchandise and handling environmentally sensitive items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Working in a safe manner at all times and reporting hazards
- Supporting guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive up
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A welcoming and helpful attitude towards all guests and other team members
- The ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- The ability to work both independently and with a team
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow multi-step processes
- The capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
You will also be expected to:
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements
