Description

We are seeking a Product Delivery & Forecast Transformation Intern to support a cross-functional improvement project aimed at reducing order-to-delivery turnaround time (TAT) for third-party offering (3PO) products, with an initial focus on Getac.

The successful candidate will work with various stakeholders to map the end-to-end delivery flow, analyze delivery-date accuracy and lead-time drivers, identify process and data gaps, and recommend practical actions to improve delivery predictability and customer visibility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivery TAT Analysis & Baseline Development: Consolidating order, planned-date, shipment, logistics ETA, and proof-of-delivery data into a reliable baseline for Getac and other priority 3PO products.
  • Measuring end-to-end TAT and key stages such as order entry to final ship and final ship to customer delivery.
  • Analyzing first-plan and revised-plan accuracy, country or lane differences, volume concentration, exceptions, and recurring delay patterns.
  • Forecast Process Assessment & Recommendation: Documenting how demand signals, pipeline information, customer requirements, and order forecasts are currently shared across HP, Getac, and fulfillment partners.
  • Identifying gaps caused by the absence of a standard forecast cadence, clear ownership, common data definitions, and feedback loops.
  • Recommending a practical forecasting model covering horizon, granularity, cadence, ownership, supplier acknowledgment, capacity checks, and forecast-versus-actual tracking.
  • End-to-End Process & Root-Cause Improvement: Mapping the physical product flow and related order-status updates from supplier readiness through fulfillment, logistics, customer delivery, and customer-visible systems.
  • Facilitating root-cause reviews for inaccurate commitments, long lead times, late system updates, and delivery-date deviations.
  • Developing prioritized recommendations, pilots, and standard work to improve supplier readiness, planning accuracy, logistics handoffs, and customer communication.
  • Governance, Reporting & Digital Enablement: Creating a KPI framework and dashboard covering forecast accuracy, first-plan accuracy, ship TAT, delivery TAT, exception aging, and on-time action closure.
  • Supporting a weekly operating cadence with clear owners, actions, escalation paths, decision logs, and measurable completion criteria.
  • Using Microsoft 365, Copilot, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, or workflow tools to simplify analysis, reporting, and knowledge reuse.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Data/Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong Excel and data-analysis skills; familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or process-mapping tools is an advantage.
  • Analytical and structured problem-solving approach, with the ability to convert data into practical recommendations.
  • Interest in supply chain, forecasting, order fulfillment, partner management, and customer delivery experience.
  • Good written communication, process-documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate actions across multiple stakeholders and work with incomplete or inconsistent operational data.

Benefits:

  • Paid internship within a global, technology-driven company.
  • Join an international work environment, with opportunities for learning, professional development, and networking across teams.
  • Flexible working schedule, with options for part-time agreements (4 hours/day) or full-time (8 hours/day).
  • Access to our intern community, including career development workshops, learning sessions, and social activities.
  • Mentor assigned.
  • Opportunity to join the HP Graduate Program following the placement.
  • Lunch at reduced prices at our canteen.
  • Access to our on-site sports center, including gym facilities, squash, tennis, and basketball courts, and 25+ organized sports and wellness activities.
  • Participation in the NextGen Employee Network, offering regular events and opportunities to connect with other early-career professionals.
  • On-site medical services, including access to a doctor, nutrition support, physiotherapy, and general healthcare.
  • Free printing access and hands-on workshops using the latest HP technologies.
