Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Senior Lab Administrator (Sr. Admin) to join their team in Sunnyvale, California.
As a Sr. Admin, you will be a highly experienced caretaker of the labs, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the lab environment. You will have a deep understanding of the lab's infrastructure and be able to troubleshoot complex issues.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain network and computer equipment
- Troubleshoot and replace broken hardware
- Build and deploy Virtual Machines using Proxmox or ESX vCenter
- Add new devices to the database system
- Document changes to topologies and configurations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in a lab environment
- Strong knowledge of UNIX (FreeBSD), Linux (RHEL/CentOS), PERL/Python, TCP/IP, and VMware ESX Administration
- Certifications in Red Hat Certified Engineer, Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, or VMWare Certified Associate are a plus

The expected salary range for this position is $35.72 - $72.36 per hour in California.
