The Cloud Project Manager will make an impact by:
- Managing project activities, including schedule, budget, status reporting, issues, and risks
- Leading a team of cloud experts in performing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration planning and migration of applications, databases, and infrastructure from on-premises to OCI
- Transitioning, leading, and growing the cloud team to implement the cloud migration strategy over 20-30 months
- Guiding the successful completion of cloud planning and migration activities
- Participating in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and administrative reporting
- Managing risks and issues, tracking them, and getting to closure
- Driving training and knowledge transfer by developing documentation and facilitating programs that enable teams and clients to leverage new cloud environments
- Enhancing vendor and partner management by supporting evaluation, contract discussions, and performance oversight
- Establishing performance KPIs, tracking and reporting meaningful metrics for migration progress and operational health
- Optimizing cloud and project costs by monitoring usage and expenditures, recommending cost-effective strategies and resource allocations
- Ensuring compliance and security stewardship by collaborating with security and compliance teams
- Championing continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and enhancement
- Driving customer success by monitoring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle and proactively addressing concerns
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related discipline
- Demonstrated experience serving as a Project Manager for a large-scale cloud planning and migration initiative
- 5 years of project management experience, preferably working in large technology/engineering/infrastructure/cloud projects
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with experience working with stakeholders and development teams
Desired skills:
- Experience working within a DevSecOps/DevOps environment, utilizing Oracle Cloud services, solutions, and provisioning/automating Oracle Cloud infrastructure, services, and tools
- Knowledge of end-to-end modern agile software development
- Cloud certification, preferably OCI certification
- PMP certificate

The likely salary range for this position is $133,450 - $180,550.
