Job Objective: Prepare and elaborate dishes, ensuring presentation and food safety guidelines set by the brand are met. Maintain the kitchen in perfect condition, both physically and in terms of equipment and materials, to meet customer needs and offer a unique and unforgettable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble dishes, organise buffets, and set up individual trays/plates while maintaining visual standards and quality.
- Plan and coordinate food preparation according to occupancy rates, ensuring prompt service.
- Inspect merchandise upon receipt, fill out requisitions, monitor expiration dates, and manage proper storage.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, applying self-control procedures and health surveillance.
- Assist in cost optimisation, technical sheet elaboration, participation in briefings, and support for kitchen assistants' guidance.
- Provide information about dishes and record guest preferences in the ACDC system.
Requirements:
- Completed secondary education;
- Experience in the field;
- Food Safety Good Practice courses and Culinary courses;
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, hygiene in food handling, and nutrition basics.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Pursuing higher education in related fields;
- Cost knowledge;
- Basic English proficiency.
