Description
We are seeking a Working Student in System Simulation to join our Software Services Team. You will work on simulation solutions for energy storage, electrified systems, and intelligent control strategies. You will gain insights into modern system simulation methods, support the development and validation of professional engineering software, and collect practical experience in an industrial development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate modern simulation solutions for energy and mobility systems
- Create and further develop physical simulation models for energy storage, electrified systems, and control and energy management strategies
- Model and parameterize mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems using AVL CRUISE™ M
- Conduct simulations with the team and analyze, evaluate, and document results
- Validate simulation models based on measurement and reference data
- Support software testing, validation tasks, and maintenance of example applications
Requirements:
- Current studies in Electrical Engineering, Telematics, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field
- Interest in modeling, simulation, and software development
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and thermal systems, as well as basic knowledge of system theory and control engineering
- Experience with MATLAB and Simulink; knowledge of Python and/or C/C++ is advantageous
- Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
- Structured and independent working style, high learning willingness, engagement, and reliability

Salary: The annual reference salary for this position is €42,137.20 brutto.
