Description
As an Automotive Field Sales Representative at 3M, you will execute territory and account plans to deliver quarterly and annual sales growth objectives.
You will develop new relationships within existing customer accounts to broaden 3M's reach, increase account penetration, and expand overall business impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing territory and account plans
- Developing new relationships within customer accounts
- Driving revenue growth through cross-selling and portfolio expansion
- Partnering with technical teams to advance customer opportunities
- Positioning total 3M solutions and portfolio offerings based on customer needs
- Capturing and communicating customer, market, and competitive insights
- Working within the global automotive environment, interacting with converters, local and global tiers, and AOEMs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
- Early experience in B2B Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or customer-facing commercial roles
- Strong passion for sales, customer development, and building long-term business relationships
- Ability to build effective relationships with customers, converters, distributors, and internal teams
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Fluency in English with native proficiency in Italian
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the automotive industry, automotive supply chain, or manufacturing sector
- Self-driven, energetic, and proactive personality with a growth mindset
- Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Analytical thinking and ability to translate customer needs into business opportunities
- Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills
Job specifics:
- Location: Virtual, Milano, IT
- Employment type: full-time
- Travel: Up to 50% domestic and optionally international
- Gross annual remuneration: €70,000 - €75,000
- Variable remuneration component: Up to 30% of gross annual remuneration
