Description
This role is part of Diageo's MOVE Center of Excellence for Korea and is responsible for all logistics activities in Diageo Korea.
The Logistics Manager will manage end-to-end logistics operational activities, including customs forwarder, warehousing, rework, and domestic customer order delivery. They will also manage customer service, including customer delivery on-time, customer logistics communication, and customer supply network optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing logistics operations to meet key measurements
- Ensuring local quality and food safety of products
- Handling customer complaints and coordinating with products track and trace, equipment reverse logistics
- Supporting market-specific activities
- Managing operations under Korea local regulations
The role requires partnership with regional stakeholders across the global organization and compliance with Korea local regulations and Diageo's standards and code of business conduct.
Financial responsibilities include proposing, managing, and controlling the agreed budget in Operational Expenditures, providing regular analysis and review to management for risks and opportunities, reviewing and managing inventory levels and logistics RCCP, and driving productivity and savings.
The Logistics Manager will also be responsible for management of business processes in Logistics, people management, demand fulfillment, customer satisfaction, implementation of continuous improvement projects, and extensive contact with the APAC Planning & Logistics Team and related stakeholders.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience in Logistics activities, critical thinking skills, ability to manage large databases and multiple systems, bilingualism in English and Korean, proven track record in leading business improvement and transformation projects, and SAP system knowledge.
