Description
As a Manager - Warehouse at Swiggy, you will lead warehouse operations of a mid-size warehouse covering all departments including Inbound, Outbound, dispatch, inventory, and liquidation.
You will monitor the KPIs of warehouses in the region and proactively take corrective actions to ensure the AOP targets are met.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Leading the middle mile and reverse logistics between WH and PODs (Dark stores)
- Collaborating with quality, compliance, HR teams to ensure the WHs are compliant as per the statutory requirements
- Monitoring warehouse and logistics costs and ensuring that AOP targets are met
- Driving process improvements and vendor rate negotiations, transport route optimizations to bring cost efficiencies
- Leading and mentoring 15-20 on-roll team members and 500-600 blue-collar associates
- Driving manpower retention programs along with HR to control absenteeism and attrition and in turn improve productivity and reduce hiring cost
You should have:
- 4-8 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Experience of managing an on-roll team of 15+ members
- Problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
- Adaptability to dynamic situations
- Experience from E-commerce/quick commerce industry
