Description
We are seeking a Temporary Civil Engineer to join our team in Mont-Laurier, QC, Canada.
As a Temporary Civil Engineer, you will contribute to infrastructure projects that shape communities today and tomorrow. You will participate in the design and delivery of various projects within multidisciplinary teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participating in the design and development of civil engineering plans and estimates
- Conducting technical analyses and calculations related to infrastructure projects
- Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and professionals in project delivery
- Conducting site visits and monitoring work progress
- Contributing to technical reports and recommendations
- Supporting coordination with clients, municipalities, and stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations
- Developing your skills as you progress towards becoming a licensed engineer
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Membership with the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ)
- 0-3 years of relevant experience (including internships)
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalents)
- Good knowledge of civil engineering standards and practices in Quebec
- Interest in fieldwork and construction environments
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent French language skills (English is an asset)

Salary range:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $51,800 - $68,600
- MB & ON: $47,200 - $65,000
- NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $46,800 - $62,100
