Senior AI Agent Test Developer

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior AI Agent Test Developer to drive quality, automation, and technical leadership in AI testing.

You will develop test plans and strategies to validate AI models, agent harnesses, tools, and inference runtimes.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop AI-powered tools for smarter, faster, and more effective software testing
• Improve test case generation, defect detection, and test coverage optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements and define test strategies
• Build test plans, design and execute test cases, and report quality status
• Perform functional, performance, fault-injection, reliability, and regression testing for AI apps and agents
• Automate test cases and contribute to scalable test frameworks and agent test harnesses
• Manage the bug lifecycle, reproduce customer issues, and verify fixes

Requirements:

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of QA, test automation, or software testing experience
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, models, agent harnesses, and inference runtimes
• Practical experience with Unix/Linux, Python programming, and shell scripting
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native systems
• Strong QA fundamentals, test strategy, and failure analysis skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI-driven solutions that streamline QA workflows
• Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU hardware or GPU-accelerated software
• Experience testing observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog
• Experience with large-scale failure testing using tools like KWOK or Chaos Monkey

The base salary for this position ranges from 168,000 USD to 322,000 USD, depending on experience and location.
