Description
The Boeing Company seeks a System Administrator (Expert or Senior) to serve on the Global Positioning System (GPS) IIF program, within our Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems (SI&WS) division located in El Segundo, CA.
The GPS IIF Mission System Administrator will support critical GPS IIF satellite systems as an individual contributor on a high-performing team. Responsibilities include:
- Performing system integration, configuration management, security, and maintenance activities across hardware, software, and domain components supporting the GPS architecture
- Providing technical support for classified systems, performing system validation and configuration management tasks, and monitoring system performance to support mission reliability
- Managing monthly patching and system updates across Solaris, RHEL, and Windows systems
- Conducting vulnerability and compliance management using Nessus and SCC tools, tracking and remediating open Cyber/IA items and POA&M discrepancies
- Installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining multi-platform systems hardware, software, virtual machines, and cybersecurity tools
- Contributing to automation, data analytics, and creative solutions that improve operations while meeting cybersecurity requirements
The position requires an Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) and 3+ years of related experience for Level 3 or 5+ years for Level 4.
The salary range for this position is: Expert (level 3): $99,450 - $134,550 Senior (level 4): $122,400 - $165,600
