Description
As a Group Manager for Operations Monitoring at Vattenfall Eldistribution AB, you will lead one of three operations monitoring groups, working closely with two other group managers to develop operations monitoring activities, create common workflows, and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable grid operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, developing, and following up on daily group activities
- Ensuring safe and effective operational management and prioritization during disturbances and deviations
- Driving routine and work process development, contributing to departmental tactical and strategic initiatives
- Ensuring adequate staffing and competence for daily operations, including supporting and resourcing daily control center management
- Collaborating with fault reporting teams to provide relevant outage information to customers and internal and external stakeholders
- Reviewing recurring disturbances and transient faults, ensuring suitable actions are initiated and implemented
- Contributing expertise within and outside the unit to maintain grid reliability and availability
- Participating in organizational development initiatives
- Promoting a healthy work environment and creating conditions for sustainable shift work
The ideal candidate has experience in power systems, grid operations, or similar high-reliability environments, with documented leadership experience and strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
