Description
The Emerging BioPharma (EBP) Analytics team at IQVIA delivers data-driven analytical solutions to help life sciences commercial teams make better decisions. As an Engagement Manager, you will lead multiple consulting projects, drive new business development, and shape new offerings, including AI-enabled analytics solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage onshore and offshore project teams in designing, developing, and delivering client solutions.
- Lead the team in reviewing and analyzing client requirements, challenging assumptions, and developing profitable proposals.
- Manage proposal preparation and revisions, ensuring overall bid integrity.
- Develop project plans with clear timelines and deliverables, and lead projects from kickoff to successful completion.
- Identify issues early and recommend improvements and alternative solutions.
- Serve as the key day-to-day point of contact for clients.
- Shape the storyline and provide senior-level input on client reports and presentations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including follow-on work and new leads.
- Champion the use of AI, including generative AI tools, to accelerate analysis and improve team efficiency.
- Ensure AI-assisted work is reviewed and validated by the team and complies with IQVIA policies.
- Follow up with clients after project completion to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for continued partnership.
- Continuously strengthen subject matter expertise through on-the-job experience, conferences, and professional knowledge-sharing forums.
- Mentor and coach team members, sharing subject matter expertise to elevate capabilities.
Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of related experience, including consulting within the life sciences industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Excellent project management and relationship-building skills.
- In-depth understanding of IQVIA data assets and core offerings, or comparable syndicated healthcare data.
- Collaborative team player who works effectively across the organization.
- Proven ability to build consultative relationships with senior managers and executives in the life sciences industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques relevant to commercial analytics.
- Strong awareness of key issues and current developments in the life sciences industry.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and client-influencing skills.
- Established professional network and referral contacts.
- Hands-on experience using AI and generative AI tools to improve productivity and analysis.
- Sound judgment in applying AI responsibly, including critically validating AI-generated outputs and protecting sensitive client and patient data.
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $106,100.00 - $295,400.00.
