We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer (Python) to join our team at FIC & Risk Technology in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based backend services, integrations, and APIs supporting Capital Development & Investor Relations workflows. You will work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend services, integrations, and APIs
- Build secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise applications that deliver intuitive, high-performance user experiences
- Partner with senior business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate internal and third-party systems, data sources, and platforms
- Develop user interface features and extensions that streamline business workflows and improve usability
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and data integrations
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment, production support, and continuous improvement
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and support existing applications while integrating API-based AI capabilities into business solutions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Python
- Experience building backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications using modern Python frameworks
- Strong experience designing, building, and supporting scalable application integrations
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Experience with REST APIs; familiarity with SOAP services is a plus
- Working knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Agile and DevOps principles, and standard software development practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical requirements and solution designs and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Understanding of ML model integration and API-based AI services, including hands-on experience with AI coding assistants
