Description
Samsara is looking for a Principal Product Manager to join their team. The role involves spending time in the field with customers, finding problems that matter most, and rallying the troops with a strong perspective on what to build next. The ideal candidate will have experience shipping products customers pay for, using AI tools daily, and having strong commercial instincts.
Responsibilities:
- Spend time in the field with customers, find the problems that matter most, and rally the troops with a strong perspective on what to build next.
- Build with AI every day: prototype, test, ship fast, and keep pushing what the newest models can do.
- Work across hardware, software, and AI teams to ship products customers pay for.
- Own outcomes end to end, measured in customer impact and revenue.
Requirements:
- You've shipped products customers pay for and can show, with numbers, the impact you personally drove.
- You use AI tools daily and get excited when a new model changes what's possible.
- You find your own problems to work on and take full ownership of the outcome.
- You have strong commercial instincts and want to understand how the product gets sold.
- You have conviction and can move a room quickly, but low ego in changing your mind when someone else is right.
Compensation:
- Annual Base Salary: $137,200-$245,000 USD
