Description
We are seeking a Project Civil Designer to join our team in Pasig City, National Capital Region (NCR), Philippines.
As a Project Civil Designer, you will carry out assigned civil design and documentation in support of technical and commercial standards. You will contribute to our current civil engineering projects by providing accurate and timely delivery of documentation. You will communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders, including multidisciplinary consultants, managers, engineers, and colleagues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out civil design and documentation
- Contributing to civil engineering projects
- Communicating with external and internal stakeholders
- Coordinating and producing drawings and drafting requirements
- Adhering to prescribed drafting standards and procedures
- Working collaboratively with a national team in a multidisciplinary design setting
- Providing mentoring and guidance to other Civil Designers
- Performing quality reviews of documentation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registration as a Civil Engineer with the relevant licensure regulatory board
- Good English communication skills
- Ideally 7 to 10+ years of industry experience on Australian civil engineering projects
- Highly developed skills in civil design and drafting
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
- Familiarity with relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.)
- Proven civil design capability
- A track record of effectively handling competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Capacity to effectively liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred skills and experience:
- Roads, Earthworks and stormwater drainage design (Australian Standards)
- 12D Modelling
- AutoDesk Civil 3D
- Experience designing projects in Land Development, Building Civil works and Infrastructure contexts
- Experience with commonly used drainage software such as DRAINS, XP Storm / SWMM, 12d Drainage etc.
