Description
Graphcore is looking for a Staff System Software Engineer to join its team in Bengaluru, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, automating, and reporting integration and system tests across firmware and device drivers.
The role requires significant technical breadth and a deep understanding of low-level system software, particularly in server-class systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in low-level system testing and integration across complex software and hardware layers, as well as a deep understanding of RTOS, complex boot logic, Linux, and device drivers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Technical leadership for test features
- Ownership of multiple features
- Infrastructure ownership
- Test Strategy
- Design and development of tests for complex multi-component areas
- Bug triaging and debugging
- Code review and improvement
- Collaboration with HW and Software teams to understand use cases and create test plans
- Integration tests for other components on the board
- Acceptance tests for stakeholders
- Communication of complex technical concepts to experts and non-experts
The team and culture: The successful candidate will join a new integration and system test team within System Software QA, which verifies integrated components across BMC, firmware, and Linux device drivers. The team works closely with developers, and the ideal candidate will be able to partner with them to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable solutions.
