Lift Bexleyheath are looking for a warm, professional and highly organised receptionist to join our team.
You'll be the first person visitors, parents and students meet when they arrive, and you'll play an important part in creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll help our school run smoothly every day, ensuring everyone who contacts us feels valued and supported.
The salary for this role is GBP 26,039 - 26,412 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors, parents, students and staff with warmth and professionalism, signing them in and out to keep everyone safe;
- Answer phone calls and manage our main email account, responding to enquiries or connecting people with the right member of staff;
- Coordinate appointments, meetings and room bookings, and keep our reception area organised and welcoming;
- Handle incoming post, packages and deliveries, and order supplies and resources as needed;
- Complete first aid training and provide care to students, staff and visitors, keeping accurate health and safety records;
- Support the wider team with tasks such as data entry, photocopying and other administrative duties.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working in a customer-facing or reception role where you've welcomed people and managed enquiries;
- Good IT skills, including the ability to use email and office software confidently;
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your time well in a busy, changing environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach;
- A genuine passion for working with and supporting children and young people;
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every child.
