The Estates Hard FM Team is responsible for the day to day repairs, PPM and operational testing for a wide range of building services and equipment located in the Trust.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and flexible estates supervisor to join our multi-Skilled Estates team at Mile End Hospital site providing operational maintenance services throughout the Trust and its associated properties and sites.
You will be a positive team member with a can do attitude accompanied with a recognised understanding of the latest HTM's (Heath Technical Memorandums), conversant with up to date ACOP's, BS & EN standards & SFG20 Standard Maintenance Specifications as they affect the management of Building Services throughout a frequently complex Health Care environment.
The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of in-house multi skilled maintenance teams and contracted staff in the day to day running of the Estates service delivery within the Retained Estate Services.
Under general direction of the Estates Manager, he/she will supervise all buildings, plant, and equipment to be serviced and maintained throughout Mile End & Royal London Retained Estate property in accordance with Statutory & Mandatory requirements in a timely manner.

Requirements
- Good literacy & numeracy skills
- Recognised apprenticeship and educated to HNC/HND level in a building service, mechanical or electrical engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of information systems for the management of maintenance activity (Concept CAFM System)
- Detailed working knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance
