Description
We are seeking an Image Quality QA Lead to join our Video Devices division at Ajax Systems. As a leading global technology company and Europe's largest security system manufacturer, we design and produce innovative video products that combine stable connectivity, high image quality, and scalable production.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with image evaluation: assessing picture quality parameters such as brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, white balance, noise, and blur;
- Understanding of image artefacts like noise, blur, overexposure, and underexposure;
- Knowledge of photography and videography fundamentals, including exposure, gain, gamma, and color temperature;
- Familiarity with testing methodologies for day/night modes, WDR/HDR, 3DNR, BLC, IR and white-led lighting;
- Experience with Linux and command-line interfaces;
- Understanding of network protocols, particularly TCP/UDP;
- Knowledge of video compression principles (H.264/H.265, FPS, bitrate, GOP);
- Proficiency with tools like VLC, ffmpeg for video stream analysis, and graphic editors like Photoshop, Lightroom for color evaluation;
- Understanding of client-server architecture for video surveillance.
Leadership and Soft Skills:
- Flexibility and ability to work with cross-functional teams;
- Desire to develop complex products from scratch;
- Leadership experience with teams of 3+ people;
- Ability to build and improve image quality testing processes;
- Experience in creating high-level test documentation and strategies.
