Description
As an NDC Electronic Document Processor at Capgemini, you will review claim-related electronic documents and be responsible for quickly and accurately dispositioning each document.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating document quality and requesting rescans as necessary
- Following established processes and utilizing best judgment to determine appropriate document type, related claim(s), and specialized document handling instructions
- Reorienting and reordering document pages as needed
- Ensuring that copies of envelopes are included with documents when needed for regulatory compliance
- Using established guidelines and/or judgment to determine appropriate document type and necessary indexing fields
- Splitting original documents into multiple child documents as needed to facilitate downstream claim processes
- Determining the correct Company, Line of Business, Claim System, and claim(s) to file the document against
- Identifying document exceptions and routing them to one of the 15 exception handling queues based on established business rules
- Maintaining knowledge through reviewing published reference materials, attending refresher training, and applying coaching feedback
