Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join the Prop A-TG (Air Dominance Proprietary) team in Hazelwood or Berkley, Missouri.
The Procurement Agent will integrate program, customer, product, and program strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies. Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Conducting risk, issues, and opportunities management
- Managing supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance
- Initiating and executing supplier improvement activities and integrating results into contracting strategies
- Travel expected to be less than 10%
The position requires more than 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Management, Microsoft Office, and supplier contracts and negotiations. Experience in Customer Service is also desired.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or higher, experience in contracts and proposals, leading supplier terms and conditions and price negotiations, and experience using SAP software.
The typical education and experience for this role is 6 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience, with an advanced degree preferred.
The salary range for this position is $88,400 - $109,200.
