Description
We are seeking a Lead Orchestration Layer Engineer to join our team at Visa. You will lead the orchestration layer within the VIA C&S platform, ensuring seamless lifecycle flow across systems and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Own lifecycle orchestration across systems
- Define API contracts and integration models
- Ensure data and lifecycle consistency
- Drive event-based architectures
- Bridge backend, partner, and experience layers
- Resolve integration and flow issues
- Enable partner onboarding (e.g., RS2)
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- 10+ years in platform/integration roles
- Strong API and distributed systems experience
- Event-driven systems, partner integrations
- Hands-on experience using AI/ML, generative AI, copilots, or agentic automation to enhance product discovery, requirements development, operational analysis, data investigation, and daily execution workflows

- Estimated salary range: $131,600 to $233,700 USD per year
