Description
WSP USA is seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2027 to work out of our Irvine, CA office. This 12-week internship is part of the WSP Summer Internship Program, scheduled to start on May 17th, 2027.
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis
- Assisting with preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates
- Collecting and maintaining project documentation
- Completing training on assigned tasks
- Exercising responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct
To be considered, you must be actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later. You must also have demonstrated interest in Civil and Geotechnical engineering, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
The expected salary for this position is $24.76 - $32.22 per hour.
