Description
You will join the Transaction Platform team at Grab, leading a team of 10+ engineers to build reliable and scalable systems for merchant transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly reliable, scalable services for Grab's Transaction Platform systems
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to build the product roadmap and set merchant-focused metrics
- Set the engineering strategy within your team and mentor junior and senior engineers
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high development standards
- Participate in interview loops to help hire top engineers into the team
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in a distributed systems environment
- 2+ years of experience as a successful software engineering manager
- Experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficient in any programming language and willing to work in Golang
