Description
We are seeking a Civil Engineer - Design and Supervision to join our team in Amos, QC, Canada. As a Civil Engineer, you will work on transportation projects in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, contributing to the design of sustainable road infrastructure and ensuring compliance with contractual norms and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct studies, preliminary projects, plans, and estimates for road engineering projects.
- Perform technical calculations, cost estimates, and prepare tender documents.
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary project coordination.
- Participate in the tender process, including bid analysis and responses to bidder inquiries.
- Provide technical assistance during project execution.
- Monitor work to ensure conformity with plans, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Prepare daily reports, compile quantities, and participate in site meetings.
- Contribute to meeting schedules, budgets, contractual requirements, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or equivalent.
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in road engineering design and/or supervision.
- ASP Construction certification (health and safety on construction sites).
- AutoCAD software knowledge.
- Experience in consulting engineering (asset).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French.
- Valid driver's license and availability for site travel.

Salary: $81,100 - $107,700
