By joining Sedgwick, you'll be part of a supportive team that handles motor claims, including 3rd party and property damage.
As a Motor Claims Technician, you'll manage a varied caseload, guiding customers through the claims journey, from initial notification to settlement. You'll gain exposure to every stage of the claims process, including liability investigations, vehicle damage, credit hire, and injury-related matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing claims in a proactive and efficient manner
- Conducting investigations and making informed decisions
- Communicating effectively with customers, internally and externally
- Maintaining accurate data and records
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications)
- Previous experience handling motor claims, including areas such as vehicle repairs, credit hire, or personal injury claims
- Strong customer service skills gained within a professional office environment
- Self-motivation and teamwork skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Target-focused with a commitment to achieving individual and team goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
