Description
We are seeking a Lead Consultant, Architect for our New York City office, working with the Transportation Facilities Group (TFG).
The TFG leads and designs projects supporting local and regional growth initiatives through small and large transportation projects.
As a Lead Consultant, Architect, you will work on varied projects in the transportation field within the NY Metro Region, including designs in rail and bus stations, pre-k and higher education projects, airports, transportation hubs, rail systems, and more.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage project teams
- Develop business opportunities, including teaming arrangements and proposals
- Interact with clients, including presentations and liaison activities
- Develop contracts for traditional and alternate deliverable projects
- Review architectural designs and ensure code compliance
- Ensure on-time delivery of projects
- Make responsible and ethical decisions regarding company funds, resources, and conduct
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Architecture required; Master's in Architecture a plus
- 7-10 years of relevant post-education experience
- Registered Architect in New York
- Strong knowledge of local clients and agency work
- Solid understanding of architectural tools (AutoCAD, REVIT, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent communication and writing skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification
- Detailed experience in architectural building design and rehabilitation
- Experience within the transportation industry
- NCARB certification

The expected salary range for this position is $118,000 - $175,230.
