We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join our team at Soho House in Barcelona.

As a Host, you will be one of the first points of contact for members, guests, and staff before they are seated for their dining experience.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Greeting guests and creating a positive first impression
Answering high-volume phone lines and responding to inquiries about menus, hours of operation, and amenities
Creating reservations for the Club or F&B Operations/Restaurants
Providing excellent service to all guests, members, and staff
Working with the reception team to ensure seamless service and managing expectations
Building relationships with members and guests and communicating feedback to management

Requirements:

Experience with OpenTable and MICROS is a plus
Ability to answer high-volume phone lines and respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently
Problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities
Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly around the club
Ability to lift and handle objects with hands
Ability to understand and communicate clearly with guests, members, and coworkers
