As the world's leading cruise line, Princess Cruises seeks a Head of Entertainment, Cruise Director to lead its entertainment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a guest-centric culture, delivering a high-quality entertainment experience, and managing department costs and inventory.
The ideal candidate will have a background in event organization, theatrical performances, and stage management. They should possess strong leadership skills, be able to oversee large teams, and have experience with budgetary management and inventory control.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a diverse entertainment team to deliver a guest experience that aligns with brand standards
- Hosting significant guest-facing events and activities, presenting a dynamic and engaging entertainment program
- Monitoring operations and inspiring a guest- and teammate-centric culture that enhances Net Promoter scores, profitability, and Service Excellence
- Managing department costs and inventory in line with established budgets
- Collaborating with entertainment managers to create customized experiences and share best practices for increased personalization
- Overseeing the Guest Entertainment Experience, aligning development and execution with shipboard leaders, monitoring quality assurance standards, and collaborating with entertainment management to enhance the entertainment experience
