Description
We are seeking a Public Area Attendant to join our team at Ludlow House in New York.
As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our public facilities, including lobbies, restrooms, and common areas. You will be the face of our organisation, promoting a positive image and providing excellent customer service to our members and guests.
Main Duties
- Conduct routine walk-throughs to ensure the overall tidiness, cleanliness, and maintenance of the Club, Rooms, Cowshed (Spa), and F&B Spaces
- Maintain a clean and tidy property, including stocking and supplying designated facility areas
- Assist the housekeeping team with deep cleaning procedures
- Adhere to local and government compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform and document daily inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as needed
- Collaborate with the team and work autonomously when required
Required Skills/Qualifications
- At least 1 year of proven working experience as a cleaner, maintenance, or housekeeper
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and positive influence on the team
- Flexible schedule and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull at least 30 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods
- Ability to make periodical fast-paced movements
