Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst AVP to join our team at Barclays Services LLC in Whippany, NJ.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing fraud applications within the US Consumer Bank, owning service level management, and providing support for assigned services within their domain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provision of technical support for the service management function to resolve complex issues for a specific client or group of clients
- Development of the support model and service offering to improve the service to customers and stakeholders
- Execution of preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software
- Utilisation of monitoring tools and metrics to identify, prevent, and address potential issues
- Maintenance of a knowledge base containing detailed documentation of resolved cases
- Analysis of system logs, error messages, and user reports to identify the root causes of hardware, software, and network issues
- Automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, resiliency, business continuity management, front office specific support, and stakeholder management
- Identification and remediation of potential service impacting risks and issues
As an Assistant Vice President, you will be expected to:
- Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions
- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills
- Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives
The salary range for this position is $165,672 - $170,000 per year.
