Description
We are seeking a Production Operator to join our team at 3M's Angleton, TX facility.
As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for producing and assembling products in the plant. You will operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Observing all safety procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Applying quality instructions and specifications
- Monitoring the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met
- Loading and unloading material into and from equipment
- Working as a team member, sharing information, problem-solving, and assisting others
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED or higher from an accredited institution
- At least one year of plant and/or manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment (optional)
- Post-high school education (optional)
- Basic computer knowledge (optional)
