Description
We are seeking an Expansion Operator to join our team at 3M in Chelmsford, MA. As an Expansion Operator, you will be responsible for operating various segments of the Expansion Operation to support the efficient setup and production of material.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment associated with the expansion team
- Work from written and verbal instructions to organize and perform all operations necessary to produce required products
- Perform preventive maintenance and initiate shop work orders for conditions requiring maintenance department assistance
- Collaborate with Engineering and R&D to resolve process problems and scale up new products
- Monitor products, equipment, and document in-process quality
- Assist other operators in utilizing equipment and processes
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and observe department rules
- Document any unsafe acts or conditions
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
- MES and/or SAP experience
- High school diploma or GED
