Description
We are seeking a Fire and Safety Specialist to join our team in Kyiv. As a Fire and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the fire safety of our facilities and operations across Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular technical maintenance and control of fire extinguishers, test internal fire hydrants and water supply systems at all locations in Ukraine.
- Organize and conduct regular training sessions and practical exercises on evacuation procedures for employees at all business centers and production sites.
- Provide full support during inspections by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and liaise with technical services of landlords and contractors.
- Conduct scheduled on-site inspections at locations in Lviv, Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, and Kyiv.
- Provide expert support to construction teams during the design and setup of new facilities.
Requirements:
- Higher education (preferably in Fire Safety, Civil Protection, or engineering).
- At least 3 years of experience as a fire protection engineer or civil protection specialist.
- Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation, including the Code of Civil Protection, Fire Safety Rules, and relevant building codes.
- Basic knowledge of the Law of Ukraine on Labor Protection and Waste Management.
- Certificates or willingness to undergo training in Fire Safety Rules, Code of Civil Protection, and Labor Protection.
- Ability to travel between company facilities in Kyiv and across Ukraine.
- Personal qualities: pragmatism, diplomacy, systematic approach to documentation, self-organization.
