Description
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to join their team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position will support the E-7 program.
The Quality Systems Specialist will ensure early quality involvement in program development by reviewing proposals, contracts, regulatory, program, and customer requirements. They will prepare and maintain quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards, and working agreements are deployed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing process data, metrics, models, and flows to identify root causes of problems
- Participating with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation
- Conducting research, compiling and analyzing performance reports and process control statistics to continuously improve process capability
- Conducting quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions
- Conducting hardware, software, and system-level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards
The successful candidate will have:
- 1+ years of experience in data mining, processing, and analysis
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using advanced features
- 3+ years of general experience with Microsoft Office Products
- 3+ years of experience with Quality Management System (QMS) and Corrective Actions
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3+ years of experience in a dedicated Quality role
- 1+ years of experience using database management, programming, statistical modeling, and/or machine learning
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to management
- Bachelor's degree
The position may require travel up to 10% of the time. The salary range for this position is $88,400 - $119,600.
