Description
As an HSE Specialist at Coolblue, you will ensure that colleagues and external parties can work safely, healthily, and pleasantly in the warehouse every day.
Your role involves combining HSE content with structure, administration, and project management, making your role varied.
Responsibilities:
- Advising teams and managers on safe and healthy working in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Conducting risk assessments, workplace inspections, and safety rounds, and translating findings into concrete improvement actions.
- Investigating incidents, near-misses, and hazardous situations, sharing lessons learned, and helping colleagues prevent recurrence.
- Providing and coordinating information and training to make safety understandable, practical, and self-evident.
- Initiating HSE projects, developing procedures, and establishing policies, such as those related to physical load, hazardous substances, and machine safety.
- Keeping track of legislation and regulations and ensuring smart and practical compliance.
- Supporting external inspections, audits, and permit procedures with a strategic and pragmatic approach.
- Preparing reports and plans of action, maintaining oversight, and ensuring expectations are met and goals are achieved.
