Description
We are seeking a Network Technician to join our IT team in Forsmark, Sweden. As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of business-critical IT services, developing and maintaining our network infrastructure, and collaborating with internal colleagues and external suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Daily operation and maintenance of our network infrastructure
- Participation in development work within our data center environments
- Work with client access networks (LAN/WiFi) to distribution and data center networks (WAN/LAN)
- Contribute to the lifecycle management of network equipment
- Participate in business projects and technical improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal colleagues and external suppliers
Requirements:
- Ability to learn new technology and troubleshoot issues of varying complexity
- Experience with network infrastructure operation and monitoring
- Understanding of WAN, LAN, routing, and WiFi
- Experience with products from Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper
- Basic scripting/programming experience and automation skills (e.g., Ansible, Python, Powershell)
- Valid driver's license (B)
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English
