Description
Lyft's Montreal team is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join the LUS Rider team. The goal is to develop and improve bike-sharing kiosk station software and payment service software, focusing on reliability, security, and user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the payment service automated test framework
- Enhance the existing kiosk automated test framework to improve test coverage
- Collaborate on designing and architecting test frameworks
- Conduct occasional manual tests of the payment service
- Write high-quality, readable, and maintainable code
- Communicate effectively across teams to achieve results
Experience:
- BSc/MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience as an automated test developer or relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Python and pytest framework
- Experience with Java, payment services, Restful API, relational databases, SQL, elastic search, and embedded systems is an asset
- Fluency in spoken and written English and working proficiency in French
